Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Such friendly, polite and happy staff! Great tasting and high quality coffee! Would come here time and time again. Oat milk flat white was delicious, so smooth and creamy with full flavour. Not sure if there are vegan food options. Beautifully decorated, lots of natural light and plants. There are tables and benches to sit, perfect or groups. Air conditioned and they play some old school and funk songs but not too loud to distract you from reading or working there. Wonderful location, easy to get to by public transport, lots of street parking available. Highly recommended!"
"Service: 5/5 Cleanness: 5/5 Vibe: 5/5 inside seating areas were nice and well organised. The low music and quite atmosphere make it a good place for bringing a laptop for study or work. Coffee: 4/5 I had the batch brew coffee. The Colombian coffee beans was roasted well for filter coffee and the coffee was extracted well. The hint of sweetness was clear. However, I do not agree with the barista’s choice for serving this as filter coffee. Its body was medium, and it lacked the after taste and full flavors that you found in other specialty coffee cafes."
"Coffee was not bad, but I think this place shines in its interior design - cozy, full of natural light and just a pleasant overall vibe. One of the more aesthetic modern contemporary cafes I’ve been in Brisbane so far. It doesn’t get too busy as well, so it’s nice to bring along some work or a book to read too."
"The coffee are great but I wouldnt say is the best in Brisbane. However I love what they have done with the design of the shop. Is unique and simplistic. It give you that bery clean, fresh and roomy feeling when you stepping through the entrance. However I must say, it is not easy to find a parking sport near the shop, so you will have to prepare to do a little walking."
"A lovely well setup business. With teaching and warehouse as well as a lovely well appointed cafe. With great music and good magazine. Great place to work on a laptop or have a meeting here. Coffee for me is too strong with a heavy roasting and a acid after taste. Similar to say a merlo. If you like this type of coffee this is THE place. Even if you are like me more of a tea drinker. This also a great cafe for you Staff are lovely and friendly and food is made on premises. On street parking and wheelchair friendly"
"Great coffee . Also one of the few cafes where you can read a decent newspaper while enjoying the nice vibe."
"The grey and wood-toned interior creates such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The coffee was also delicious! I’d love to come back again."
"One of the cleanest urban interiors I’ve ever seen in a Brisbane cafe. We quite enjoyed our time at this quiet little cafe. No on site parking, but quite a few metered street parks available close by. We came around midday and it was pretty quiet, with the vibe almost feeling a little awkward (music was so soft). Service was a little lacklustre, everyone working seemed unhappy- but still managed to be polite when serving us. We ordered an almond croissant and two coffees. Really disappointing that they have no syrups, I think it’s definitely a must in all cafes. Opted for sugar instead, and the coffees were actually pretty good. Mine was slightly sour, but the creaminess made up for it. Croissant was good as well. Overall, I really liked the interior of this cafe, and on a busier day I’m sure the vibe would be more lively. I’d recommend for anyone passing by!"
